Staff were really welcoming, the kitchen served excellent food, and the scenery around the hotel was gorgeous. We even brought our dog along and would gladly recommend this place.

The hotel sits in a beautiful setting with plenty of hiking options and even allows pets, and the staff were pleasant. Unfortunately the room we got was far from clean – dirty mattress, stained walls, crumbs and dust on the floor, a smelly carpet and cockroaches in the shared bathroom. The restaurant was hit‑or‑miss: one day the meals were okay but short on veg, the next day we got dry bread and overall the food was just average.

The location and atmosphere are outstanding – staying here feels like visiting a real castle with historic sights and a unique vibe.
