Munroe Island is a gem, and our stay here was super relaxing. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and loved that we could use kayaks and pedalos for free. One of the guides even took us on an amazing sunset punting tour for a steal - 600 rupees, or about £5 for an hour. The setting is beautiful, and watching the sunset over Ashtamundi lake was a highlight.

The site is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the hotel is really fun with a rope course, swings, pool, kayaks, and more. The breakfasts were also really good.

The room was huge and had super comfy beds - we had a family room. The facilities in general were great, and it was really peaceful. One cool thing is that they let you borrow a kayak or paddle boat to explore the lakes. On the downside, to get to the hotel, you have to cross the train tracks and trains pass by pretty frequently. Overall, everything was good though.
