“Terrible treatment from Locolo Palace BnB.”

I booked the place, made a payment, and called to confirm. The unfriendly receptionist told me the property was fully booked and didn’t understand why they’d taken my money. I asked for a refund because I wasn’t canceling—it was their fault—and she said she’d speak to a supervisor, but I had to keep calling and felt she was annoyed. She kept calling and eventually threatened to contact my lawyer. They said they’d refer me to another place. Over the phone they told us they’d booked us at Wesley’s BnB, which was not clean and not worth the amount we paid; some items in the guesthouse weren’t functioning, we were itching all night, and we were supposed to stay two nights but only slept one. We were treated unfairly and baldly.

My stay was fairly standard, with service being the only redeeming quality. However, I was disappointed to find that the rooms were quite small and had some unwanted guests - ants in the bathroom, to be specific. Additionally, I wasn't provided with a remote control, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it was an average experience with some areas for improvement.

I had a pleasant overnight stay at this hotel, thanks largely to the exceptional service provided by the receptionist. She was very helpful in showing us different room options, and we opted for the larger one, which was spacious, clean, and comfortably furnished after a long and tiring journey. The staff's attentiveness made our short stay enjoyable.
