The facilities are decent, but the lack of TV is a drawback that brings the rating down a bit.
“A good Stay”
The guest house is close to the temple and the staff treated us very well. ❤️ Kindly update the location on Google Maps.
We had a terrible experience. We stayed as a family of seven adults and three children, and the restrictions were outrageous. The owner immediately told us no outside food was allowed, and if we brought any, we had to dispose of the trash outside the property. She also refused to let us use the house dustbin for our 3‑year‑old’s diapers, demanding an extra ₹200 per diaper to use her trash facility! We had to carry our own garbage out. On top of that, there were no basic amenities: no towels, old used bedsheets in the room. We felt constantly monitored and restricted. Don’t be fooled by the positive feedback online—they look like paid reviews. I booked this place based on them, and my experience was absolutely terrible.
We had a wonderful stay at Parthasarathy Guest House. The rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The host was incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming. One of the biggest advantages is the location—it's very close to the west entrance of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, making it extremely convenient for temple visits. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. We would definitely recommend Parthasarathy Guest House to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and hospitable place to stay in Thiruvananthapuram.
