“Recomendo!”

We landed in Windhoek, planned two days but cut it to one before heading to Etosha, splitting the drive time. We spotted Otjibamba the night before on the Booking site, booked, and everything was great. The staff were very welcoming. The property’s animals set the mood instantly. Dinner was delicious. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary comforts. Beautiful sunset. Everything was excellent.

The place sits close to Etosha Park and the breakfasts are solid, while the dinners—extra cost—are a bit steep but still decent. It’s a quiet, animal‑filled spot. In room 20 the sink faucet is loose and the towel holder is broken; a luggage rack would also be handy. Everything else works fine.

“Pas grand chose à dire je trouve que c’est dommage car l’hôtel a beaucoup de potentiel, il a besoin d’investissement.”

The location and the animals are nice. The building is too old, there are holes in the mosquito nets that don’t work, stains on the floor and rugs, and the breakfast is too simple.

“Gute Lodge”

The whole area feels well kept – large, clean rooms, friendly staff, tidy pool and pool area. The bathroom door jammed, and the food took a long time from ordering to delivery.

Good value for money for an overnight stop. Plenty of animals around the pool.
