We were simply turned away with the excuse that they had “noisy guests” and that we were not suitable; a few houses down, we were directed to another place, which I think is run by sisters with the same family name. We stayed there and it wasn’t bad.

Lovely location, I like that they have a playground and plenty of green space.

The spot is nice in a quiet part of the village. At night, with the window open (the weather was too hot), passing trains can be heard. Breakfast was excellent!
