A warm welcome and a very clean, homely room with a comfortable bed and a nice breakfast made this place feel like home; the host was great, and I’d definitely come back. The only downside was that the bathroom floor is tiled and can slip when wet.

I had a lovely stay in a cosy room by C, featuring a comfortable double bed, a large TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was served at the dining table the next morning and offered plenty to eat. The location is perfect for traveling to central London without paying the usual high prices, and the family running the place is very friendly—especially the kids, who are a charm! The only drawback was that the bathroom is shared; I knew this beforehand and it didn’t bother me much, but there are no ensuite rooms available at this property. The property feels a bit tired, yet it delivers good value, a lovely room, and great breakfast, which was all I needed.

The location is great and the value for money is solid in this family home. I arrived around 9 pm and was promptly shown to my room, which was warm, spacious, and equipped with a TV and a double bed. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the morning. Breakfast included fruit, yoghurt, a choice of cereal, eggs, and toast, all served at the family dining table. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d recommend it for anyone needing a bed, good value, a friendly host, and a decent breakfast in London with easy public transport links. The only downside was the shared bathroom, which I knew before staying and is mentioned on the website; if that’s an issue, this isn’t the right place. The family lives on site, but that didn’t bother me; the living space is small and private.
