The location was nice, but the place felt a bit tired and in need of an update.

The outdoor area looked nice, but our bathroom had damaged tiles, wasn’t fully clean, and left hair behind. I ordered strawberries for the room, but they were frozen and soggy when we received them. The spa was a joke; the massage was so soft it felt like using a paper towel, and the spa pool was rundown. The hotel doesn’t cater to couples at all, and the balcony light kept turning off, letting light shine through all night.

We booked a two‑night suite for a wedding at the golf club, and the location was great. The staff were friendly and the view was impressive, but the room had no water, a disturbing decor that looked like a cheap bachelor pad, and mould in the shower. Toiletries were sparse and the restaurant food was mediocre. I expected better after the drive up and the warm welcome, so I’d only return if I’m attending an event there.

The place is easy to get to and the grounds are nice, but the shower trays were cracked and the tea and coffee options were basic, forcing me to call the front desk several times.
