The hotel feels old but well maintained; the carpet is new, indicating recent renovation, and the room and bathroom are very spacious, typical of an old hotel. The location is problematic, situated in a central area undergoing major building renovations, making walking around difficult. We only liked it because we were attending a competition at Palácio López and could walk there.
