Patricia greeted me warmly and the house was spotless. The room was roomy, with a nice terrace and a BBQ that I didn’t use but was handy for others. It’s a quiet, safe neighborhood with decent restaurants, though it’s a bit far from the city center – bus is the way to go, taxis cost a fortune. The biggest downside was the heat; even with the cooling system, it was still sweltering during my short stays.

The host was very warm and incredibly helpful, but the kitchen was dirty and left a lot to be desired.
