The hotel has huge potential; the common areas inside and out are tidy and beautiful, with an artistic vision that reminds me of Barcelona’s Güell Park—truly unique. Breakfasts are modest but acceptable, and the shared kitchen is open to everyone. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even offering good taxi recommendations. The location is good. However, the rooms need a facelift, new furnishings, and modernization.

This atypical hotel is fantastic! The deluxe rooms are enormous, and the swimming pool is amazing!

The hotel’s exterior really stands out because of the animal mosaics. The pool is small but serves its purpose. The room is large, though the wardrobe is inside the bathroom. Towels are changed daily, but some have a damp smell. There was no place to hang clothes after water‑tour excursions. Breakfast was poor for lactose‑intolerant guests; I could only eat scrambled eggs and tea. They don’t prepare breakfast to go, and most excursions leave before breakfast opens. If you leave early, you get the minimum (tea, coffee, and a little more). So, if you plan excursions, paying for breakfast isn’t worth it. At checkout, our luggage was left in the laundry/wardrobe corner where anyone could grab it. Moreover, when we left, no staff were present, so we had to take our bags and leave. It’s a safe place, but a bit more control would be nice.

The front‑of‑house team was very helpful, giving the place a relaxed vibe. The exterior is unusually vibrant and decorated. I wasn’t sure what made it “Eco” beyond the name; the single‑use toiletries were still packaged singly, and the room air‑con units felt very old and inefficient. The room we initially booked was quite sad and noisy, but we were moved to a much larger, quieter room without any fuss, which was great.
