The setting is family‑friendly, quiet, with a large bathroom and big window, nearby castles and bike routes, close to the tourist town of Blois, and a supermarket right at the street’s end 😍. The comments from dissatisfied people are dishonest and shameful.

The owner was unapproachable and unpleasant, locked the main entrance and left without a key while we were outside, making it hard to contact him; we had to drive into town to get a key at our own cost, wasting time and money. I do not recommend this place.

Miren hotel was good. It wasn’t great.

The bed was comfy, the hygiene was good, and the place was absolutely quiet. The staff were a bit chatty‑less; they only said hello and goodbye, and we only saw them at key‑handing, breakfast, and when we checked out. The guesthouse looks plain, yet the room itself was excellent.
