“funky cottage and had everything we needed, lovely host with great communication”

I stayed at a funky cottage set in a lovely spot, it was very clean with a comfy bed and a huge bedroom. The cottage was spacious, had a good kitchen, was quiet and off the road with good parking/carport, and was very close to town. I would have liked a larger fridge, but it was fine for a two‑night stay.

The place was secluded and perfect for stargazing, and you could walk to town, though it took about 35 minutes.

We loved the great home with its large compound and the surrounding area.

There was a hot‑water issue in the bathroom; after two minutes of cold water it finally warmed up.

This property was by far the best place we stayed during our New Zealand holiday. The area was quiet and private with a beautiful outlook and quite close to town. The facilities were excellent, and we would certainly recommend this stay to anyone travelling in this area. Nothing was wrong; our one‑night stay was just perfect.
