The authenticity of the building is a plus, but because of that authenticity the comfort is a bit lower.

The hotel sits right in Santa Monica, just a short walk from the pier and 3rd Avenue shops. The pool fits the hotel’s size, and the food and drink options were solid. Rooms were spacious and the staff went out of their way to address even small concerns, keeping the stay nearly flawless. The only downside was that the sofa bed wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hoped for the price.
