This tiny owner‑run hotel is charming and sits near a country road, making it ideal for exploring nearby villages and the Jura. The highlight is its excellent restaurant, where the friendly hosts explain dishes and wines, creating a truly special culinary experience. Overall, the stay was a positive one.

“Uitstekend”

The rooms are spacious and beautiful, with very good beds, a great bathroom, and convenient parking. The staff are very friendly and the food is also very good. The only downside is that it’s fairly close to a busy road, but that didn’t bother me.

The rooms were beautifully and tastefully appointed, with excellent TV and air conditioning. The meals were outstanding; breakfast offered many delicious, carefully chosen options, making us feel pampered. Dinner was also excellent—one of the best meals I’ve had in France! The chef and hosts went out of their way to accommodate my vegan spouse, while I enjoyed a tasty fish dinner. The warm welcome, genuine service, and open‑hearted charm of the proprietors make this a must‑visit destination. It’s an easy drive to see the Grotto and Abbaye at Baume‑les‑Messieurs. Highly recommend!
