I chose this countryside spot to experience rural Japan, and it delivered: the location, the authentic Japanese living vibe, and the varied breakfast encounters were all spot on, especially the welcoming couple of hosts and the spacious tatami room.

The proprietors were incredibly kind and even gave us souvenirs, which was great. However, the floor creaks when people walk, so it can be a bit noisy for sensitive ears.
