“Winfest”
We were in town for Winfest with friends and decided to stay at the Hideout for the night, which turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. Sha kept in touch throughout, making check‑in and check‑out smooth. We spent a lovely morning chatting with Sha over fantastic European coffee, and he proudly shared all the local attractions. Winfest itself was great, with local bands, food, and good company. One highlight was returning to the Hideout to hang out with Hockey, a very affectionate cat, all night long. We’ll definitely book with Sha again next time we’re in the area. The rooms were a bit small but just right for us, and we were visiting grandparents, so the no‑children policy for small kids didn’t bother us.
