The spot is great, but the finish was really poor, it felt worn out and tired, with posters and leaflets everywhere that almost seemed like they were scolding you. It might be fine if you’re looking for a cheaper option.

The Ryokan experience was truly fantastic—a little gem in Gion, Japan. Everything was beautiful. Nothing to complain about.

The location was perfect, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious!

The service, smiles, and the great walking recommendations tailored to my preferences were outstanding, and the amazing dinner served in my room came with all the explanations. The warm night bath on the terrace—simple yet delightful—was a highlight, and the location is simply ideal. The only downside was the thickness of the futon (a heavy duvet), but that’s a personal perception!

Everything from the staff’s kindness to the room with a view, the typical dinner, and breakfast was great. Nothing to complain about.
