The hotel sits close to Castelvecchio, a very good spot. The breakfast, however, was served at a nearby café that we couldn’t locate; we were handed a card without an address, and because we don’t speak Italian, the explanation of where the café was was unclear. We spent almost half an hour searching for it.

Mateo was very helpful and gave us great tips for exploring, but there was no iron available.

The location is excellent, just a one‑minute walk from Castelvecchio and a short stroll from Piazza Bra. The room was spacious and bright, and we appreciated the complimentary water in the fridge. Since we didn’t use breakfast, I can’t comment on that. The air‑conditioner had a small leak, there were no mosquito nets, and the shower needed a bit of maintenance.
