The room felt very clean and I was extremely comfortable, the breakfast—both Japanese and Western—was satisfying and the staff were appropriately helpful, while the on‑site hot spring and open‑air bath were pleasant; being at a high altitude gave the mornings and evenings a fresh, crisp air even in summer, and the entrance area offered plenty of space to park the car and unload luggage, allowing me to move everything inside before taking the car to the parking lot, which meant I didn’t have to lug heavy bags around.

The old‑school bubbly vibe is still intact, making it feel like a day at an amusement park, but the staff clearly lack proper hotel training, so the soft service doesn’t match the flashy décor; the breakfast buffet was shockingly poor and clashed terribly with the bubbly atmosphere—so bad that even a 5,000‑yen business hotel would serve something better.
