Cheap and clean

It was impossible to sleep because all the windows faced the road, and the noise was constant 24/7. The description never mentioned that the windows faced the road, giving the impression you’re trying to sleep on a racetrack. The night noise never stopped. The reception was run by an admin, and housekeeping in the rooms worked until noon, but not always; they would clean only when I hung a sign. Forget about food delivery—no one would open the hotel entrance, the magnetic key and reception were empty. At night the guard, a pensioner, slept in a neighboring room/bar. After a week we switched rooms, but all windows still faced the road. On the third day I booked another quiet hotel and stayed there. I didn’t leave because the remaining money wasn’t refunded, only a room exchange was offered, and nothing changed after that.

Nothing positive. The staff were rude when I called them on the phone.
