The apartment felt modern with lovely furnishings, and I enjoyed sitting on the patio while the farm animals grazed nearby—a very tranquil spot. The evening meal was superb, and the host stocked the fridge with unexpected goodies, showing great generosity and making us feel spoiled.

Dinner was very well prepared and came with a side salad and dessert, while breakfast was continental but served the evening before, not in the morning. The heaters made the unit very cosy in winter. However, the shower floods the bathroom and spills into the lounge area, the fridge needs defrosting, and the kettle needs descaling.

The room was very roomy, and the dinner and breakfast were nice, with a very pleasant hostess. In winter it’s a bit cold, but we had heaters and electric blankets.
