The signage inside was simple and easy to follow, the room felt clean with a nice view, the open‑air area gave a refreshing sense of space and the staff were pleasant, and I can’t recall any particular downside.

The view was amazing, but the tatami mats in my room were pretty worn out. I mean, you can tell they've been around for a while. Still, that view though.

The staff were super friendly and always had a smile on their face, which made my stay really enjoyable. However, the hotel does seem a bit old and worn down overall.

I loved the hot spring and open-air bath, and the staff were really kind to me. One thing I was hoping for at dinner was some lighter options to go along with the fancy stuff like sashimi and abalone - maybe some grilled fish or salted snacks.
