The hotel is really cool! The outdoor spa and pool are simply amazing and spotless. I’m thrilled with the place. The staff is super polite, and the breakfasts are delicious.

Enjoying a wonderful location in Großarl, in the southern part of the Salzburger Land, the Hotel Tauernhof offers you all the comforts of a 4-star family hotel for your holiday in Austria. In winter, you will appreciate the reliable snow conditions and the comprehensive winter sports opportunities, while in summer, the mountains offer you a glorious place for hiking and many other sports and leisure opportunities. The hotel features a rich cuisine and a large and modern wellness area.

The food is perfect, the wellness area is great, and the staff is accommodating. Booking a Standard room means you’re stuck with just a standard experience.

Everything was perfect, except that I couldn’t find a cold‑water pool in the sauna zone at the wellness center, and the breakfast selection of baked goods felt a bit limited – just minor details.

The breakfast is outstanding—everything gluten‑free, from bread to fried noodles to pastries. Free garage parking. The wellness is nice, but all the pools are fairly cold; at least one hot tub should run over 30 °C.
