Hotel Keistad is situated at Amersfoort's historic Koppelpoort Square, adjacent to the 15th-century Lieve Vrouwe Tower. This hotel features an Italian restaurant, Restaurant Lorenza, offering meat and pasta specialties, and in-room breakfast. Classic rooms have free wired internet, box-spring bedding, and flat-screen TVs. The hotel is 220 meters from the Mondriaan House museum and 1 km from Amersfoort train station, connecting to Amsterdam and Utrecht.

The spot is great, and the room was nice with a very comfy bed. The downside was that the hotel is attached to a bar/music club; after 9 p.m. the noise from the bar was unbearable, as if a bass player and drummer were blasting full volume right next to my room.

The bed was good. The noise was a problem, with the DJ audible in the room until midnight.

The location is excellent. The staircase, typical of Dutch design, was a nightmare for us older guests.

The hotel was close to the center but too noisy, with no adequate soundproofing so you could hear the bars below. The staff were indifferent, never greeting us, just asking for my name, the city tax, and handing over the keys. The room was unclean, with stains everywhere and hair or razors in the bathroom.
