We liked the rural setting and Ullah the factotum’s absolute kindness. The staff were also very pleasant and smiling, and the facilities were simple, almost rudimentary, but very clean. We hated the terrible reception from the owner and his lack of friendliness and professionalism. We arrived at 14:30 after several hundred kilometers for a quiet stop before resuming the road the next day, having deliberately chosen a place with a pool to enjoy a lazy afternoon and sunbathing by the water. When we arrived on 15 August, the venue—an agro‑tourism that also serves as a restaurant—was hosting a dinner for 200 guests. We had to park in a field and the owner greeted us in an unimaginable noise, without a smile or a hello. He handed us the key and told us we couldn’t use the pool because of the event happening on the premises. No apology, no compassion. We found ourselves locked out of a Spartan‑style room with conversation noise all around. It is unacceptable to treat guests like that and deny them the amenities that were promised. For this reason I would not recommend this place.
