Parkhotel Hohnstein by STEIGER Hotels

Good, food, cleanliness, very friendly staff. We had a Familientreffen and 3 Zimmer booked. After dinner it was already dark outside. In the hotel there was no possibility to meet together. Only the Bar, which was however not quite the right environment. It closed at 22 Uhr. That was basically fine, but as a family we had no space to come together, so everyone spent evenings in their own rooms. That was very unfortunate, so we would not choose this hotel again for such a meeting.

“Lage und Sauberkeit sehr gut, Abendessen unterdurchschnittlich”

The hotel sits on the edge of the forest, rooms are clean, staff are friendly, the spa and pool area are pretty good, and the homemade rolls at breakfast are delicious. The mattresses feel worn out, and the dinner is really underwhelming for the price.

Breakfast was good, but the room is a cramped two‑bed space where one bed is pushed against a beam into a corner, almost like a single with a sofa bed. Half‑board only offers buffet meals, no à‑la‑cuisine option.

“Für eine Nacht war alles okay.”

The reception was pleasant and there’s a bike locker for overnight storage. The drinks are quite pricey.
