We really enjoyed the vibe and the warm welcome, a sharp contrast to the impersonal, sterile feel of chain hotels. No negatives.

A great spot if you’re looking for countryside hikes. The hotel is very quiet and, thanks to its height, stays cool even in heat. The room and bathroom are well sized, the décor is simple yet fitting for the price. The town is close, with pleasant tea rooms nearby. The owners are available. Good value for money. Breakfast and restaurant were not tested. A few inexpensive decorative touches could improve the décor.
