On my first day, my little sister cut her foot on broken pool tiles and required 12 stitches. I also discovered bugs in my bed, which was awful, so I switched hotels immediately.

After more than 30 years at Bakungs, I still think it offers good value, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent. The resort is aging and could use a makeover, but it matches the price.

The room was spacious and cool, so I left the air conditioning off at night. I liked the shrine next to it and the beautiful garden. However, the room had a musty smell that I treated with incense, and the staff were not very friendly to me.

The hotel is very pleasant, offers convenient parking and is close to the sea. Rooms are cleaned daily, and there is a cafe with reasonable prices.
