We got a few slices of biscotti, sachets of sugar for coffee or tea, but no coffee or tea itself. A tiny fridge would have been a lifesaver in this heat. The air‑conditioner was weak, and the pillows were uneven—one was almost flat, the other so firm it left my neck bent forward.

The room was nicely furnished, yet the location was hard to reach because the streets were narrow and steep. The fridge was broken and stank; despite reporting it, we had no fresh water for three days. Dust covered furniture and floors, and the balcony was littered with excrement. The shower tap leaked heavily, and the noise of water hitting the shower tray was irritating. There was no coffee machine as advertised—just a kettle, tea bags, and biscotti, unsuitable for a summer breakfast.

The place was large, clean, and roomy. Nothing to complain about.

The food was tasty, the place comfortable, clean, and cozy, with a true central Italian vibe. The narrow streets give an authentic Italian feel, though driving through them is tricky.
