I struggled with the two keys and couldn’t figure out how to open them, so it took several minutes just to get the door open and step inside, especially since I checked in when no staff were around to help. Also, the amenity corner was missing the usual paper cups – there were only plastic holders, so I had no cup for tea or rinsing, which was a real let‑down; a mug or cup in the room would have been nice. Finally, I learned after checking out that the inn is part of the Kirishima‑Jingu Station redevelopment (the Kōrai Project) and that there are plenty of shops nearby, but the property didn’t promote the project or nearby attractions at all, and had I known beforehand my itinerary would have been richer.

I wasn’t fully satisfied because the staff were absent and communication was lacking; I emailed to report a nighttime hum from external equipment but received no reply—otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.

“とっても快適でした！”

The place felt very clean, and as soon as I entered the room I was greeted by a pleasant wood‑and‑tatami scent, with just the right lighting and sunlight; although it was listed as a unit bath, the bathtub turned out to be spacious and sparkling.
