“Ein Reinfall”
The most important information was missing, covering up the few or almost non‑existent positives: you share the apartment with the resident, essentially intruding into someone’s private space, which made you feel extremely uncomfortable because you hadn’t expected that. Other guests felt the same. Almost no one dared to use the kitchen, even though we eventually did because we didn’t want to eat out all the time, which required a lot of effort. There wasn’t enough dishware for each guest to cook for themselves. To use the washing machine, you’d have to ask first. The old lady spoke only Portuguese but was helpful. The photos are partially outdated. There isn’t a seating area in every unit. The term “units” implies separate units, which they definitely were not. In the end, we felt cheated by the flattering description and omission of the crucial information. The old lady was nice, so we didn’t express our dissatisfaction to her, which she probably wouldn’t have understood due to the language barrier. In any case, the price for the accommodation was outrageous.
