The location was spot‑on, just a stone’s throw from restaurants, bakeries, cafés, and supermarkets, and the breakfast was tasty. The room wasn’t huge, but it was roomy enough to move around. Still, the property doubles as a restaurant and pub, yet we waited more than 30 minutes to check in even though staff were present. The bathroom lacked hand soap and shower gel, and although the listing said a kettle would be provided, ours didn’t have one. After the long check‑in wait, I didn’t want to keep looking for staff. The next morning I saw kettles in every other room I could see, but not ours. A bright light from the restaurant’s sign poured straight into our room, and because the window was dusty and stuck, we couldn’t close it to block the light, which stayed on until the restaurant closed for the night

The hotel sits in a central spot with parking close by, and the on‑site restaurant and breakfast were solid. But it was unbearably hot—no matter how I left the window open or ran the fan all night, it stayed warm. There were no blinds or curtains, so the sun baked the windows all day. For an old, warm, minimalist room, the price felt steep.

The hotel sits in Bovec’s center, just a short walk from tour agencies, with free parking available. The room is spacious and the breakfast is good. The rooms feel a bit dated and could use a refresh

The place is great—central, tidy room, and one of the best I've had in Slovenia. Unfortunately the staff were rude, especially to Americans, and they refused to give us a microwave or a fridge for leftovers. Breakfast was mediocre and the coffee machine was broken.
