Architecturally and interior design very nice, with a beautiful park-like garden on the edge of a charming small town with scenic surroundings; the in‑house restaurant with a large terrace is very good, the owner family and their staff, especially in the kitchen and restaurant, are very courteous and friendly and offer an unusually personal service for today’s standards. The breakfast buffet – a machine provides freshly squeezed orange juice daily – leaves no wishes unfulfilled. Our room also had a kettle with a range of teas and coffee preparations. In the evening – except Sundays and Mondays – the restaurant is open and you can also order drinks for the room, which we especially appreciated because of the very hot weather during our stay. The large flat‑screen TV in our room was internet‑capable, so you could also access content from media libraries. The only negative I could think of was that I would have liked to address the friendly restaurant staff by name and suggested that Mr Derichsweiler equip them with name tags. My wife, however, didn’t care at all…

Well‑maintained hotel with a very nice large garden in a quiet location on the edge of the town. The booked single room was spacious enough, the bed had an acceptable width and a mattress that was not too soft, which was very back‑friendly. Breakfast was sufficiently extensive and the service friendly and quick. The room does not have air conditioning and was fully in the sun all morning. With an indoor and outdoor temperature of 33 °C, at least a fan in the room would have been helpful. Unfortunately, there is also no small fridge to cool drinks and medication. Access to the annex where the single room was located was only possible via several stairs and long corridors, which is quite a hassle for an older person with a lot of luggage.

Excellent presentation, good‑sized room, good bathroom. Evening meal and breakfast match the hotel’s standard. No air‑con. It was hot overnight.
