The rooms are well kept, modern and homely. Breakfast is tasty and generous, one of many extra services. The owners are service‑oriented and responsive. In the summer, they don’t speak the local language.

Service was very good and the staff were excellent, the place is great for all kinds of recreation, the scenery is beautiful and there’s a wide range of activities and entertainment, but they should show the extra‑service price list beforehand and give a clearer indication of the accommodation itself.

“Beautiful property, comfortable stay, and stunning surrounding nature.”

The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable, especially for taller guests. The property was beautifully renovated with high‑quality materials and a tasteful interior design, and there are plenty of activities – some need to be arranged with the host in advance and may cost extra. The surrounding nature is beautiful and adds a lot to the overall experience. Finding the property and getting in touch with the host on arrival was somewhat challenging; the phone number provided did not respond, and clearer signs on the main road and at the fork in the forest would make the property much easier to find. Communication could also be improved, as Latvian was not possible, which made it harder for some group members to talk to the hosts. The bathroom arrangement was another minor inconvenience – guests in the rooms must go downstairs to use a shared bathroom, which was not ideal for some of us. Overall, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, and high‑quality renovation, and with better signage, arrival instructions, and communication the experience could be even better.

A perfect 10 / 10 – the hotel and grounds are modern, stylish and well‑kept, breakfast was tasty, the hosts were welcoming and treated each guest individually, and the forest, pond and lake provided complete silence around. Thank you!

I liked the place, but the kids’ play area could have been positioned elsewhere, not so close to the pond.
