“Very dissapointing, paid for 3 nights, only stayed 1”
The area is very pretty, quiet, and relaxing. The restaurant serves nice food, but you really need to like their cuisine. The decor is very nice, the lobby and furniture are impressive. The resort’s website is completely fraudulent; this is by no means a five‑star resort. Almost nothing advertised is open: the 5‑Star French Restaurant is closed, looks like it’s been shut for years; the Cigar Lounge is abandoned, looks like it’s been empty for years; the Cocktail Lounge closes at 9 pm on a Friday night. The only open place—and the only place to eat within 26 km—is the all‑day dining restaurant, which offers both red and white wine and a selection of three beers, so if you stay a long weekend you’ll eat nine meals at the same spot. The hotel room isn’t a five‑star comfortable bed (mine at home is better); the sheets are too small for the bed, and the carpet has a dusky urine smell.
