“Très plaisant”

The room was spacious with a terrace and a beautiful sea view when I woke up; the cleanliness was flawless, and I never had to worry about it. The lush garden and pool were lovely. However, the sound insulation was poor for light sleepers because the road is close, motorcycles keep passing, and the walls between my room and the neighbor’s let us hear impacts at times.

“Needs some love”

The location works, but getting to the hotel means walking from the car park up a lot of stairs, then another big set of stairs. The reception, kitchen, and dining area feel run down. The view is great, and the rooms are decent, with a nice view. The stairs and reception are problematic, there’s black mold on the bathroom ceiling, parking is an issue, and there’s no fridge, kettle, cups, or glasses.

The staff were friendly, the pool was pleasant and warm, and the view of the sea/forest was great. The rooms weren't very modern, but they had all the necessary comforts.

The stay was enjoyable, the room was very well equipped, spacious, elegant and stylish. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had no issues. The location also suited us. Compared to Indonesian standards, the room was incredibly clean! The air‑conditioning worked and the whole area was quiet and orderly. The staff were kind and we had no leaks. I see three minor shortcomings that might not be pleasant for some people: 1. There were a lot of ants in the room and bathroom! Whenever you bring food into the room, an army of thousands of ants throws itself on the food. They crawled on our clothes, the sink, the bed, the food, everywhere! 2. The stairs to the bungalows are very long. For us it was more of a funny problem, but I believe it could be unpleasant for people with health issues. 3. Two dogs roam the hotel premises. One of them really grew on us… it’s affectionate, attentive and loving, but in a terribly bad condition. Both dogs are on a bone diet, have no energy and look sad. They’re grateful for every scrap of meat you throw them. I therefore appeal to the accommodation… please, please, feed and water them. Their presence elsewhere made the stay very pleasant.

We had a nice room and a pleasant pool, and the higher setting made it quieter; the hotel dog looked terribly thin and nobody dealt with the ants that appeared in the room when we ate.
