It was a true family‑style guesthouse with a warm welcome and tasty food; everything was clean, tidy, and well‑maintained. The shared kitchen was well equipped, though we didn’t use it, and there was a nice pool attached to the property. That wasn’t the case.

The place could have been pleasant, but it required effort and care rather than being left untouched. The beds were okay, the shower water was warm. However, we chose this spot to cook breakfast and dinner because of dietary allergies, yet there was no kettle, the stove released gas when turned on, forcing us to ventilate the room for an hour. After telling the owners—who were hard to reach—we learned they were absent and we just had to turn off the stove. We left hungry and disappointed. The dishes were unwashed, the espresso machine held stale coffee, the shower handle didn’t work, and the cabin couldn’t be heated.
