“Mooie kamer in prachtig huis met fijne service”
It’s a beautiful property, and we had a nice, spacious, well‑furnished room that matched the house’s style. The hosts are friendly and offer coffee, tea, or something else all day. We didn’t have breakfast or dinner at Het Rechthuis, but both are possible and the dining area looks cozy. We liked that from this location we could visit the Frisian cities, and it was also great for a long day trip to Ameland.

A stunning historic building with tastefully refurbished and furnished rooms, comfortable beds, a warm welcome, and a delicious breakfast. The only drawback was that the windows in our room couldn’t open—just a small issue! Thanks to the high ceilings and air conditioning, this wasn’t a real problem.

The owners were incredibly friendly, polite and made sure everything was just right. The house is beautiful, full of little touches in both the common areas and the room. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The room itself is huge, with a small lounge attached for reading, watching TV or making tea or coffee. They have a shed where you can leave your bikes at night. Everything was perfect.

A gorgeous old historic building with a very nice large room. The atmosphere is relaxed, you can grab your own beer and jot notes, and chat calmly with the two very service‑oriented hosts. Overall, highly recommended.
