Some fresh updates were nice, but the room was still a mess—used cotton swabs under the bed, a leaking toilet that dripped onto the floor, and the constant honking from the gas station below made it hard to relax.

The staff were super helpful, the location right at the exit to Monte das Gameleiras was convenient, and the whole place was clean and quiet.

I had a nightmare from the start: the address on the site was wrong, I spent an hour circling the block, and it turned out the hotel sits on top of a gas station. Breakfast was served in the convenience store, surrounded by flies, and the attendant was a gas station clerk. The shower was either scorching or freezing, and I’m definitely not coming back or recommending it.
