“Great place”
The room and bathroom were great, private and quiet. We didn’t have food, but breakfast was reasonably priced and the spa facilities were included. I can’t think of anything negative.

Located in the countryside, Pontlands Park Hotel is a 15-minute drive from the M25 and 30 minutes from Stansted Airport. This 1879 Victorian hotel features relaxed splendour and luxurious bedrooms, with 35 rooms available. Situated near Chelmsford, the hotel is close to Chelmsford train station, offering 35-minute trains to London Liverpool Street. The family-run hotel offers fine dining, conference facilities, and access to the neighbouring Reflections Leisure Centre.

The building and grounds were beautiful, and the manager and team made sure we enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was good quality, and the one issue we raised was handled quickly and didn’t affect our stay.

The location was superb, the hotel was beautiful, and the food—especially breakfast—was excellent. The room was high quality, and the staff were friendly and professional, as if they truly enjoyed their jobs and were treated well by management. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the stay.

The spot is great and the hotel feels classy, but everything else was just fine.

The staff were very accommodating and the room was comfortable, featuring a romantic four‑poster bed. The pillow was a bit puffy.
