“A truly fantastic experience from start to finish with amazing food”

We spent three unforgettable days at Elephants Crossing; the location is fantastic and everyone goes out of their way to make us feel at home. The Welgevonden setting is gorgeous and well maintained. Jacob guided us brilliantly on safari, offering incredible wildlife sightings from lions on a kill to baby rhinos and even a rare leopard. Back at the ranch, the staff took excellent care of us. Chef Jones cooked with skill, and the meals were not just tasty but masterful, especially the puddings. We stayed in the Bush Cottage, a short walk above the main camp, which felt like a secluded world. It was very cozy, with stunning views, and at night the stars were spectacular. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and dipping into the plunge pool during the day. Thanks to everyone who made our visit special; I would highly recommend Elephants Crossing for anyone seeking an amazing safari experience. The only drawback was that the West Gate, which you need to reach for Elephant's Crossing, is over 30 minutes beyond the Main Welgevonden Gate and on a fairly rough road, but the effort is worthwhile.

“A beautiful location with wonderful staff!”

I had a wonderful stay at this lodge, thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to make everything easy for us. The food was top-notch, and our game ranger Herbert was incredibly knowledgeable and made every effort to ensure our game drives were unique and exciting. The views from the lodge were simply outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this charming lodge, which offered a personalized and warm experience. The staff were engaging and attentive, and the views of the surrounding nature were breathtaking. Being surrounded by wildlife was a thrilling experience, and I felt like I was truly immersed in the natural world.
