The two‑person rooms were modern, roomy, and came with a smart TV, and parking was included; the lakeside location put you near restaurants, the market, and a park. The breakfast offered six menu options instead of a buffet, which I found lacking – no boiled eggs, cottage cheese, peppers, lettuce, a variety of cold cuts, or single‑bread loaf.

The location is great and everything was very clean, but the room was noisy from the street side. The room key was supposed to unlock at 11 am, 20 minutes before check‑out, but it didn’t work; the reception tried twice to activate it, failed, so we had to enter through the back entrance and ask the cleaning staff to open the room so we could retrieve our luggage, costing us an extra hour.

“Bylem bardzo zadowolony”

The location, sports facilities, and meals were solid, and there were basically no faults, except for the furniture in the room and the shower.

Close to the lake, the park, and the city centre, yet the price‑performance ratio is wildly inflated; for the money you could stay at comparable standard hotels in Berlin, Paris, or Madrid, while Wolsztyn is only a bit smaller.
