Hotel Elom

The spot’s close to the city center and the bus terminal is great, but the room was filthy with a lot of hair and fur on the sheets and in the bathroom. It sat on the 4th floor with no elevator, and the front‑desk staff were rude and unhelpful.

“Auf keinen Fall wieder!”

The staff were nice, but the water was cold even in the shower, the heating only ran for a few hours at a time, and the beds were dirty.

Francisca and Nelson were helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the room had a lovely view. The heater was too weak for the room size.

I liked the location, especially the proximity to the bus terminal, and the breakfast was decent along with the friendly staff. The real downside was the bathroom: the hot water kept failing, which I’d seen mentioned in other reviews; it was only lukewarm, and in winter that’s a real hassle.

“A means to an end but I wouldn’t return”

The place is well‑located and the heating works, but the check‑in was slow and the breakfast details were vague. A staff member took photos of me eating without asking while I was on the phone, and the breakfast itself wasn’t great.
