The location, staff, and cleanliness were acceptable, yet we were disappointed by the lack of heating. The room was cold, and the central system only cooled; heating hadn’t been activated, and staff said it was impossible to warm the room. For a five‑star hotel, that’s unacceptable. If the central system can’t switch to heating, there should be heaters or other solutions. The room also lacked a kettle, which is odd for this level—there should be a tea station with kettle, cups, tea, and coffee. Other reviews suggest this is a systemic issue, not a one‑off. The room had only plain curtains without blackout fabric, so they either made it pitch dark or let everything in. That’s a serious privacy and comfort violation; the hotel claims blackout curtains, but they don’t function.

“超漂亮舒适，整个人都美起来了”

This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at on this trip, an artist’s hotel with a minimalist yet high‑end design. I loved the green accents on the elevators, rooms, and door frames. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was abundant. The biggest convenience was the on‑site parking, and the staff kept helping us with our luggage.

Hospitality in Armenia is unmistakable, and Grand Hotel Gyumri is the place to see it. I spent 16 days of rest and comfort surrounded by wonderful people. A special thank you to manager Levon for his compliments and warm conversations. The hotel’s history, layout, and décor immerse you in Russian Imperial times with a French flair. I highly recommend visiting this ancient city and staying in the heart of Gyumri.

I booked the hotel for my grandparents, and they loved their stay. Everything was great, and I would definitely recommend this place. All was good.
