The hotel sits just a block from the metro, so getting around is a breeze. The rooms are surprisingly roomy, which is a relief after a long day. The staff don’t speak English, but they make an effort to get the message across.

Only thing that impressed was the spot—just a stone's throw from Jianguomen metro Exit A. But the lobby looks nothing like the glossy photos, lighting is dim, and the old rooms smell like worn carpet. The menu is all Chinese with no pictures, staff are slow, and there’s no pool or hot springs on site; you have to pay extra to go to another building, which kills the vibe.

“Das Personal hat die vielen Mängel mit seiner Hilfsbereitschaft fast ausgeglichen”

Central spot, close to U-Bahn, restaurants, and the train station. But the pictures were way off; the furniture looks like it came from the 60s and the place feels dated. The price feels way too high for what you get.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, even though they don’t speak much English. At the front desk, though, very few people actually speak English, which made things a bit awkward.

“Average”

The rooms are big and comfortable, which is great. The place is a bit rundown, and the pool area is in a separate building with its own changing rooms—figuring out how to get there took us about 30 minutes.
