Marelen Hotel Zakynthos

“Eine sehr schöne Woche auf Zakynthos.”

The hotel is very pretty and well maintained, the pool area is the same. Breakfast was sufficient and varied, the room was nice and clean, the location is superb, evening restaurants are within walking distance. A lovely natural beach with a beach bar a few minutes away. The staff were friendly. We would definitely recommend it! The only thing that bothered us was the toilet door being glass and almost see‑through, which made privacy lacking. Apparently it’s also become very modern with no bathroom at all. The air conditioning was extremely loud and weak; we reported it, someone came, but it didn’t improve, so we had to turn it off while sleeping.

The place was fairly clean, the staff very courteous, breakfast and dinner were satisfactory. The photos don’t match reality for the pool size and how the hotel is set up. The breakfast and dinner times are quite strict. I think that for a summer holiday, if someone wants to sleep longer they can’t, or they have to leave the pool and outdoor activities early.

The staff were very accommodating and the room was clean. The pool area is beautiful and the splash pool for kids is a highlight. The food could be better and the airplane noise could become annoying over time.

“Permanenza molto piacevole”

We spent a pleasant week at a well‑maintained hotel in a great spot, quiet and fully equipped—perfect for families and beyond. The only downside was the restaurant table cleaning; the napkins were subpar, and I had to keep wiping the baby’s high chair, which was quite dirty. The rooms, however, were always spotless.
