“OK but wouldnt stay there again.”

The room was brand new and the lamps still had price tags on. The waitress was very good and tried to get us some soap and help us. The actual hotel is amazing with beautiful carvings salvaged from old ships and is grade 2 listed. They could make more of these amazing features which are not even mentioned on their website. The room was brand new but the bathroom was very challenging with two very high steps to climb up. Being of a certain age this was extreamly difficult especially in the middle of the night. There were no hand grips. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash your hands and no waste bin. The food in the restaurant was very limited no salad or anything healthy. We were asked to eat as soon as possible as they wanted to close the restaurant as the only other people eating there were eating at 5.30

After a long drive, I finally found a spot to unwind and it was absolutely perfect—just wonderful.

The bathroom ceiling was a bit low and the water pressure left a lot to be desired.

“It was a good stay although £122 for a room for the night was expensive and there was only 1 bar staff even when it was”

The rooms were clean, but I was unhappy that I had to step down two steps to reach the bathroom; otherwise everything was fine.

I had a lovely stay; the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were great, and the live singer was fab.
