The hotel has a magnificent setting and a very pleasant view. The cleanliness was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was very enjoyable. A special mention goes to Jane at the reception, if I remember his name correctly, who was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. His friendliness made our stay even more pleasant. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast, which could offer more variety and a better selection

The hotel has a very good location, just a two‑step walk from the old town, and it’s quiet at night. There’s a pool and parking, though the parking is very tight. The staff are wonderful, responsive, and friendly, and the breakfast is very good. The room ruined the whole experience; it was a single night stay, but the 20 m² room didn’t even smell like that. With two people in the room, one has to lie down while the other stands because there’s simply no space for two. The room is worn out, the bedding is old, and the furniture looks like it was bought on sale. The nightstand is higher than the bed, and at night you can bump into its corner, which is dangerous. Staying in that room caused depression and a strong urge to leave quickly. Don’t book the standard category at this hotel.

“A week at a fantastic family owned hotel”

The staff were great, and the junior suite was a dream because the mattress was brilliant—excellent nights of sleep. Housekeeping brought fresh towels every day, and the breakfast buffet was amazing with fresh coffee on tap. The location is great, right in the town centre. We’ll definitely return in 2027. The only downside is the music from the bars in town on weekends, which was too loud and went on until the wee small hours of the morning.

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, viel Auswahl. Nur am Ankunftstag hatten wir Wasser zum trinken, hätte erwartet, dass wenigstens fragen konnten ob wir Wasser möchten
