The hotel sits right next to the Westerfield train station and the restaurant is good. Both nights we heard loud music outside our rooms, and the outdoor seating area had music that wouldn’t turn off after the pub closed, leaving us with barely any sleep. We didn’t have a chance to complain that night, but they did apologize.

The staff, facilities, menu, and value for money were exceptional; the large, spacious room had a very comfortable bed and meticulous attention to detail, though the shower could have been more powerful.

From the moment we stepped in we felt at home; the pub was clean, the food fantastic, and the staff friendly; the room was nice, big, and well appointed, offering excellent value, and we’ll definitely return despite the stairs to the bedrooms being a bit of a challenge for my partner who walks with a stick.

The room was lovely and located in a great pub, and the pub food was excellent while the staff were helpful and friendly. The only downside was that access to the rooms was only by staircase.
